Div 1 week 10 – Zone Bowling Rooty Hill – 13 April

The division bowled 3 pins over average at Rooty Hill with 36 200 games and 8 600 series. The high game went to Wolf Miller 248, Phil Meurant 246, Robert Ellison 245, Chris Greaves and Luke McMahon 239, Wolf again 233, Robert again 225, Phil Spender and Rodney Kitley 224 and Dave Stenstra and Garry Ridgeway 222. The series went to Wolf 670, Phil Meurant 667, Robert 649, Chris 627, Michael Burrows 610, Rodney 607, Ray Vandine 606, Michael Campbell 596, Adam Burrows 590 and Phil Spender 580. The ladies high game went to Amy Brown with a pair of 204’s, Julie Strickland 192, Helen Cios 191, Rebeccanne Farr 188, Amy again 182, Hayley van Bueren 180, Janice Edwards 178, Carol Stenstra 176 and Melissa Webb, Amy Martin and Julie again 172. The series went to Amy 590, Julie 521, Rebeccanne 517, Helen 512, Hayley 508, Abigail Keith-Wheatley 487, Janice 478, Melissa 476, Margaret Abdilla 471 and Carol 470.

Leaders Bowlarama Blackjacks won 14½ - 4½ but had their lead cut to 2½ points as Tenpin City Dark Knights won 16-3. 3rd place Bowlarama Gorillas scored 15 on the bye while 4th place Gosford Grenades lost 12-7 to Tenpin City Pirates who moved up 2 places to 8th spot. Fairfield Odd Bodz won 11-8 while Rooty Hill Rogues won 15-4 to join Odd Bodz in equal 6th place. The high game went to Blackjacks 948 and 946, with Odd Bodz and Gorillas on 939. The series went to Blackjacks 2820, followed by Rogues 2741 and Dark Knights 2680.

Div 2 Week 10 – Zone Bowling Rooty Hill – 13 April

The division bowled 2½ pins over average at Rooty Hill with 25 200 games and 4 600 series. The high game was shared by Chris Prince and Madison McCooey on 256, playing against each other for ½ point each, with Madison setting a new high Female game for the year. The male high games after Chris were Graeme Pulbrook 237, Phil Isaac 236, Nadim El Haddad 235, Tony Sutton and Michael Pipe 224, Bob Cohen with a pair of 223’s, Bruce Worrell 222 and Graeme again 221. The ladies high games after Madison were Kathy Compton 199, Ros Dowton 192, Angela Francis 190, Nicole Wort 185, Kay Ginger 183 and 182, Madison again 181, Ros again 177 and Ancita Levy 175. The series went to Graeme 658, Chris 638, Bob 628, Michael 608, Bruce 596, Nadim 589, Nick Frost 581, Phil 580 and William Scheers 578. The ladies series went to Madison 598, Kay 536, Ros 516, Kathy 511, Angela and Maria Wrublewski 484, Sue Turrall 474, Ancita 458, Fay Pipe 444 and Ros Kirkland 440.

Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos won 14½ - 4½ to extend their lead to 8 points as 2nd place Bowlarama Alleycatz lost 13-6 to Strathfield Sharks, dropping to equal 3rd place with Lidcombe Lynx who maintained their 3rd place despite losing 12-7 to Campbelltown City Sixers. 4th place Western Force played 5th place Strathfield Vikings and lost 16½ - 2½ dropping to 7th place as Vikings moved up to 2nd. Strathfield Sharks won 13-6, Rooty Hill Strikers 12-7 and Mittagong Highlanders 15-4 as the top 9 teams are all within 24 points. Wetherill Park Rebels won 10-9 and Strathfield Scorpions won 15½ - 3½. The high game went to Rhinos 962, Vikings 932 and Sixers 876. The series went to Rhinos 2721 setting the new high series by 4 pins, Vikings 2642 and Sharks 2529.
