Division 1 Week 9 – Wetherill Park – 1 April

The division bowled 14 pins over average at Wetherill Park with 71 200 games and 24 600 series including 4 700 series, scoring an average of 198 on the day. The high game went to Chris Greaves 279, followed by Ross Brown 268, Trent Miller, Dean Ainsworth and Shane Bond 267, Brett Foster 256, Ross again 252, John Raftry 248, Josh Vanderkolk 245 and Tony Zumbo and Andrew Parker 244, Andrew scoring 2 of these. The series went to Ross 746, Trent 732, Andrew 720 and Glenn Rowland 706, Josh 698, Shane 683, Chris and reserve Alex Sole 680, Wolf Miller 652, John 644 and Brett 640. The ladies high game went to Sarah Heath 256, beating the season high game by 2 pins, followed by Janelle Crass 252, Michelle Simmonds 233, Amy Brown 225, Sarah again 211, Amy again 204, Meaghan Curtis 203, Janelle again 201, Michelle again 197 and Sindy Searle 195. Leaders Tenpin City Reaper Crew played 3rd place Wetherill Park Bandits and lost 13-6 and had their lead cut to 6 points as Campbelltown Cougars won 13-6. 4th place Wetherill Park Guns won 11-8 and Stayed just ahead of Bowlarama Hotshots who scored 12½ points. Gosford Gremlins moved up to 6th spot winning 12-7. The high game went to Cougars 1111, followed by Bandits 1105 and 1055, Gremlins 1044 and 1021, Hotshots 1043 and 1003, Wetherill Park Outsiders 1040, Campbelltown Jaguars and Reaper Crew 1038 and Guns 1029 and 1023. The series went to Bandits 3095, followed by Cougars 3063, Guns 3028 and Hotshots 3020.

Division 2 Week 9 - AMF Rooty Hill – 1 April

The division bowled 5 pins over average at Rooty Hill with 43 200 games and 9 600 series. The high game went to Mikel Petersen 286, Neil Mills 265, Robert Vamvas 257, Jim Vlahos, a personal best 256, Graeme Pulbrook 253, Dave Stenstra 246, Joe Wrublewski and Robert Ward 244, Garry Graham 238 and Jared Kirkland and Nathan O’Neill 236. The series went to Mikel 710, followed by Neil 663, Robert Vamvas 654, Dave 637, Ray Dillon 636, Jared and Nathan 624, Jim 615, Ray Vandine 609 and Chris Prince 599. Leaders Rooty Hill Rhinos won 13-6 and extended their lead to 8½ points as 2nd place Bowlarama Alleycatz lost 11-8 against Rooty Hill Rumble this round having already pre-bowled for Round 11 in the morning and lost 14-5 to Wetherill Park Whisperers thus dropping to 4th on win percentage. 3rd place Strathfield Tigers beat 4th place Strathfield Sharks 10-9 and moved into 2nd place as Whisperers scored 12½ points in the afternoon to move into 3rd place on win percentage. Campbelltown Alleygators won 10½ - 8½, Western Warriors won 10-9 and Windsor Wanderers lifted themselves off the bottom scoring 15 on the bye. The high game went to Alleygators 1016, Whisperers 983 and Tigers 975. The series went to Alleygators 2842, Whisperers 2820 and Bowlarama Dolphins 2693.

Division 3 Week 9 – AMF Rooty Hill – 1 April

The division bowled ½ pin over average at Rooty Hill with 11 200 games and 1 600 series. The high game went to Phil Spender 221, Gerald Mills 218, Matt Burchell 217, Bruce Worrell 215, Matt again 213, Gerald again 212, Bob Quinn 206, Matthew Jeffress 204 and Vince Granturco 200. The series went to Matt Burchell 610, Gerald 588, Bruce 586, Bob 554, Nick Frost 545, Brad Cook 536, Phil 533, Matthew 524 and Vince 517. The ladies high game went to Debbie van der Meer 212, Pam Russell 202, Debbie again 193, Leanne Gray 175, Debbie again 174, reserve Kim Cook 173, Julie Strickland 170 and 2 168’s and Jasmine Hall 162. Leaders Lidcombe Looneys lost their first match going down 11-8 to Campbelltown City Dragons and although 2nd place Gosford Giants won 10-9, they dropped to 3rd place as Strathfield Saints won 13-6, moving into 2nd spot just 6 points behind Looneys. Rooty Hill Pikachoos moved up to 5th winning 14-5 while Rooty Hill Strikers won 10-9. The high game went to Saints 877, followed by Giants 862 and Wetherill Park All Stars 852. The series also went to Saints 2509, Giants 2416 and All Stars 2407.
